clearing up more boxes today i realised i couldn't put the music anywhere because there isn't anywhere! started making a pile of unwanted art stuff for resale. Adam commented that my place now looked like a normal person had just moved in! Soon I shall be able to get down to some real work again :)

should have done more clearing today but decided relationships were more important and hit the real tate, cowling and wilcox, cass art and a couple of second hand record shops. Discovered 'This Week' on the corner of Berwick Street which sells amazing fashion mags at ridic prices so I bought a packet of vegetable crisps instead. A couple of work related purchases and everyone was happy!

3 more saturday school sessions at WSFG booked in, all good stuff! These will be on fashion illustration. The cardboard city which is my living room is slowly being dismanted and the furniture is now visible :)

just need internet and a landline now. don't know what to do about the telly yet. i think the furniture will fit in ... not so sure about all the boxes which need to be archived though :) All in all, it hasn't been a fun game so just to warn anyone reading this, be very sure it is what you want. Even so, it has been worth it and i'm grateful for the motto of the portugese explorer guy who discovered some strait in central america "We sail on."

this is it, tonight i'll be in my own place and my months of 'the pursuit of happyness' will be over. Last nights demo went really well, lovely group. Ongar is really pretty and in the snow looked like a film set. The bits most appreciated were drawing an arch and putting in people.

just assembling my demo for tomorrow, traveling into deepest south west essex! In 36 hours i'll be on my way to my lovely new flat :)) At least I don't have to pack, as I did all that 6 months ago!

nearly there! just paid the balance , all i need now are the keys, less than 72 hours to go!

abstract workshop went really well today, A piece of work from all the participants is on the relevant page. Do take a look, there are some strong images :) I know have to knuckle down and sort thursdays demo in Ongar, THEN i can move!

On Jan 18th 2011 i put my house on the market and sold it 7 months later. Today i exchanged contracts on my purchase. It's been a long haul and I've been blessed with a lot of very patient and loving friends and family who have helped me on my way. The next stage is about to begin :)
