very pleasant trip up to berwick street and its environs today, came back with a pad of A4 bristol board and 3 fw acrylic inks. Its amazing how shopping can con you into thinking you've actually done some work but i know its a lie, really i do ...

just put up 3 of the girls work from wsfg saturday school on the wsfg page. got 2 more sessions to go so hopefully i will be adding more :)

good day yesterday for site viewings, 180 visitors! wsfg saturday school went well, the girls really enjoyed the session and want to do more :)

thank you solent plastics for looking! I'm glad you like her work as well:)

just looked at this wonderful oil painting by Kathryn Thomas. She has a like page on fb. I like the sort of work I do and I like other artists landscape pencil work but what is it that makes me envious (in a good way) of  atmospheric  abstracted oils ? Is it also wanting what you can't have in the field of wanting someone else's talents too? if i feel my art calling is to small intimate pencil studies then to hanker after large scale expressionist oils is a bit daft. It may down to personality. What I do is an expression of what is most important to me, my inner world, but my feelings about the outer world look like these.

just e mailed my first interested publisher  :)

chigwell went well, which is good and a couple of people asked if maybe i would be interested in doing something for their art societies  which is even more good :) I discovered drawing from the side not to be such a good idea afterall. Netbook with the projector was brilliant!

just tweaking my presentation for chigwell art society tomorrow, as long as no gremlins get in the projector all should be well.

book fair was so worth it, great fun, no friends were able to be there but good contacts made, coffee and a massage!

london book fair tomorrow, have a wander round, meet up with a friend or two, coffee, lunch ... and see where I want to fit in
