I am having extreme difficulty in sorting out a blog for the main urban sketchers site. Everyone seems to have a bing job. I don't seem able to figure out how to use it or how to attach it to urban sketchers. It is doing my head in. If any urban sketcher blogroll people read this, please tell me what to do because this is making me very miserable. Thank you.

late night/early morning entry. Was going to write some more of my 'book' today but somehow i thought it extremely necessary to get rid of duplicate files instead. Then i took my book down to coffee republic and learnt a whole lot about pencil drawing. If art  was taught using this guys principals, there'd be a lot more competent artists around. Harold Speed was a genius. 'The Practice and Science of Drawing' was written in the early 19th century. A third edition was printed in 1917. Still in print and getting 5 stars on Amazon.

Hi Lama, thank you, it was a pleasure:)

went back to the souls stop today and finished off a drawing of the waitress Lama which I started yesterday. This is now at the top of the south woodford page. There are some interesting angles to draw at the back of sainsburys so when the weather has calmed down a bit i'll have a go. 117 visitors on here yesterday, thanks to the magazine piece!

Yay!south woodford village gazette is out and i'm in there, pages 10 and 11! nice write up on my work and urban sketchers :)) well happy.

Finished off The George and then drew in the soul stop which was good and i got to give away 4 more cards. I have made a new page just for south woodford, i'm not too sure what to do with the urban pages.

Had a pleasant afternoon drawing outside Foyles and drinking a latte in Foyles. Also saw the London urban sketchers show on third floor gallery, picked up a james hobson postcard.

nothing  much to report today. Had a hot chocolate in waitrose and cleaned a black ink cartridge in the hope that my printer will stop ghosting. I printed out one of my drawings and that came out alright but i haven't tried it out on type yet.

did some people sketching in the souls stop today, 3 x 15mins jobs. Went back to Art on the Left and pursued the connection between mental and visual perception what that means in terms of art and its relationship with brain usage preferences. It was good reading that my ideas so far matched up with those of the late and very smart, Harold Speed. I want to take this a step further and see if there could be a provable link to Jung's theory of personality types. (or rather the MB Type Indicator)
