Am pursuing the latest flat I saw the other day. Tonight I have to pack to move in with other friends. One day everything will turn out all right :)

did a bit more to the latest 406 drawing, not much, just another lamp post, sign and a bit more road. gave some more thought to my grand plan today. things are coming together as i've said before, life is like gin rummy, you have to put down before you can pick up.

started my most ambitious 406 drawing to date. Its on the home page. The more i do of these the more i think that the one before it wasn't really all that. Which is good because it shows progress. Checked out the latest flat today. It's nice but everything is all electric! Electric emersion heater with a huge tank! how much does that cost to run??

Just finished another version of the 406. I need to get some colour in somewhere. I shall study my fellow urban sketcher's work and see if i can pick up some ideas. I found my top up voucher:)

Love todays tree drawing, it was one of those moments when everything just worked. I've lost my top up voucher. Still waiting to hear back about the flat.

Re worked the sainsburys watercolour, I feel better about it now. Still hanging on about the flat. Nothing much else to report, sorry.

This is it. My longstanding day job has now finished. Just like that. And it's great!!!! All I need to do next is find somewhere to live and then, as my friend put it, "You'll be normal, just like the rest of us" ...

the home page drawing is only in its infancy. it started to rain, hence the splodges. i've started writing up my grand design (business plan) which is more fun than i thought it was going to be. i'm waiting for herb to come round and give me a lesson in layering in photoshop. I hope i'm not being too daring in putting up unfinished work.

am going to strengthen my resolve by going to the hairdressers, where the wonderful vicky will make me believe that a good haircut will get you anything you want. Which, as any woman will tell you, is absolutely true.
