Today I went to Waterstones and read their books, a new one from John Berger (was ok but he has a weird way of putting things) and a couple on comic gags. The 'Dummies' one was good but as usual, written for the american market. I shall see what second hand copies there are on amazon:) Two genuine Rathbones are coming to stay for a few days so i'm shifting out to charlottes tomorrow. Then I'll be back.

Started on the roof of Pee Jays, interesting piece of lead i think. Thank you char for your comment xx you are very sweet, and you will be glad to know I have cleared out a load of paper from my folders! I have now started work on my gag people, they need to be edgy but not aggressive. I am working on 2 designs. Have now had a good read of 'photoshop elements 3 for dummies' so now i will be able to do anything i want!!

As you can see I finished library picture, though I'm tempted to do a bit more pencil work on the left so it doesn't look like i just gave up. Fortunately the routines at Zumba were just the same as last week so that saved me an extra bit of confusion in my life! I just want to go home but I'm going to have to wait a few more weeks for that to happen.

Was rather nippy out today so only drew for an hour outsidethis morning. Went back this afternoon to do some more but the sun was shining straight in my eyes. Perhaps I should have more than one on the go at once. Spent some time in waterstones looking at graphic novels which was a good wheeze.

Got a whole picture finished today, the results are on the home page. I need to start on creating a style for future gag work. If I do 5 pics a week it will take me 5 weeks to fill up my 15cm sq khadi papers book, well maybe a bit longer, good intentions and all that :)

Thank you Laura! Things are still sunny in Woodford and I'm very glad you put Bristol on my Analytics map! Your friends can all pop round too!

Still no more art finished. Tonight I went to Zumba which was fun and I'm happy to say i kept up, mostly.

Today is Destiny's birthday. She is one and is very adorable. Her lovely parents have taken her to Galleons Reach to an adventure playground thing suitable for her age range. I am cooking dinner for the Raths tonight, a shepherds pie concoction.

today i did some more towards buying my flat. Tomorrow I have to make all the phone calls to do with whatever ,post letters and sort out the few bits of paper work i have with me. i need to be more particular with my business plan and start naming figures! I have also ordered a cheap marketplace photoshop elements 3 book to help me fill in my skills gap:) Peg starts work on wednesday, I shall miss our time-wasting sessions in the Soul Stop.

thank you char, the 123 was a good bus stop wasn't it!
